How To Reach Chitrakoot

By Air: : Allahabad Airport, a military cum public airport happens to be the nearest domestic airfield that is located at the approximate distance of 119 kilometers from Chitrakoot. Owned by the Indian Air Force and operated by it in collaboration with the Airports Authority of India, the Allahabad Airport provides connectivity with New Delhi. The flight to New Delhi is operated by Air India Regional. Khajuraho Airport situated about 147 kilometers away from Chitrakoot is the next major domestic airport from where the flights operated by Air India and Jet Airways ply to Delhi and Varanasi. To reach either Allahabad or Khajuraho from Chitrakoot tourists can avail state transport buses or rent a private cab.
