By Air: : Tirupati Domestic Airport located at Renigunta, about 15 kilometers from the heart of the city is the closest airhead that will help you with getting an access to this place of worship. This airport has established direct connectivity through air with the major cities like New Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Vizag, etc. King Fisher, Indian Airlines, Jet Air Ways, etc. are some of the domestic airlines that cater services here. To reach the city from the airport one can rent a cab which will charge around 300 INR.
Chennai International Airport, located approximately 130 kilometers from Tirupati is the nearest airbase that offers a worldwide connectivity. Tirupati Airport is in the process of being upgraded as an international airport soon.

By Rail: Tirupati has a well equipped railway station which is undergoing modernization at present. Out of 10 platforms built here, only 5 are in use today. This train head is very well connected with chief Indian cities via rail rout, some of them originating from here. Chennai sub-urban railways in North-western line connect this train station to cities like Chennai, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Madurai, Mumbai, and Bangalore and so on. Renigunta junction which lies on the bustling Chennai - Mumbai rail route, is positioned quite close from Tirupati city. From this junction we can board several major trains like Navyug Express, Himsagar Express, Ten Jammu Express, Kerala Express, etc. Gudur Junction situated 84 km from Tirupati also caters the needs of the tourists.

By Road: The town of Tirupati boasts of a very well planned road network controlled by synchronized traffic control system. Plus NH 205 passes through Renigunta. A number of state transport buses operated by APSRTC (Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation), SETC (Tamil Nadu State Express Transport Corporation) and KSRTC (Karnataka State Road Transport Coroporation) and many private buses connect Tirupati to important cities and towns in and around Andhra Pradesh, such as Hyderabad, Chennai, Vizag, Vijayawada, Bangalore, etc. Alipiri bus stand is a special bus depot from where buses ply towards Tirumala every two minutes. Tirupati is situated 550 km from Hyderabad, 250 km from Bangalore and 150 km from Chennai.
