Weather In Noida

The weather of Noida is similar to that of Delhi and it can be classified as a ‘Semi arid Climate’ characterized by extremely hot and dry summers and cold and misty winters. Noida experiences three major seasons during the year. They being: summer, monsoon and winter.

Summer lasts from March to May when temperature extends from 32°c to 46°c. Sometimes the mercury even crosses the limit of 46°c and the weather turns exceedingly broiling and scorching and heat waves relentlessly bake the entire ambience. ‘May’ is the hottest month of the year. It is recommended to wear loose and cool light cotton clothes during summer in Noida.

Monsoon sets in during the month of July and lasts till September. This is a comparatively short season in the yearly seasonal cycle of Noida. During the rainy season temperature records a meager fall and the intense humidity and dampness render the clime very undesirable and disagreeable. Noida is drenched with medium to heavy rainfall and august is the wettest month of the year when the city receives maximum of its downpours.

Winter in Noida similar to that of Delhi is particularly cold and temperatures record significant fall during this period of time. Winter extends from November to February when temperature extends from 3°c to 25°c. In the year 2007, Noida had experienced intense cold when temperature had dropped down to the freezing point. Tourists must carry light to heavy woolen clothes along when visiting Noida in winter. The best season to visit Noida is from November to February when the weather is pleasantest and at its best.
