By Air: The nearest airport to Khandala is at Pune, located 66km from the town of Khandala. Taxis are available to take you to the main site and can charge up to Rs1500. International tourists will have to take a longer route via the Chatrapati International Airport in Mumbai, which is about 110km away from Khandala. Both these Airbases are very well connected to the rest of India as well as some of the other foreign countries through regular and frequent flights.

By Rail: Local trains from Mumbai and Pune regularly ply from Khandala Railway Station. The nearest Railway Junctions to Khandala are at Mumbai and Pune. Both these Railway heads are well connected to the rest of India via a regular and steady supply of trains.

By Road: Khandala is very well linked to the other cities in Maharashtra, like Mumbai and Pune as well as the neighboring states by an excellent network of bus service. Its neighboring town Lonavla is also linked with it by a regular and frequent bus network.
AC or AC Deluxe buses have also been arranged by the Maharashtra State Transport Corporation from Thane T.T. in Mumbai to Khandala.
