By Road: NH 71, NH A1, NH 1 (Grand Trunk Road), and also NH 70 that intersects NH 1 near Joginder Nagar link Jalandhar to the places in and around Punjab via road. State transport buses of Punjab, Hariyana, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Rajasthan states operate here and connect Jalandhar to various towns and cities of the country. Apart from the state transport buses, a number of private traveling companies run their luxury, AC and Deluxe buses on the routs connecting Jalandhar.
