By Air: The Pantnagar Airport located at Pantnagar of Udham Singh Nagar District in the state of Uttarakhand is the nearest airfield from Jim Corbett National Park that provides this ‘realm of tigers’ with air connectivity to rest of the country. This domestic airport maintained by the Airports Authority of India is a public airport where the Jagson Airlines operate a daily scheduled flight between Pantnagar and New Delhi. Both Indian as well as foreign tourists can reach the Indira Gandhi International Airport of New Delhi and then take a flight to Pantnagar. The Pantnagar Airport is positioned about 121 kilometers away from the Jim Corbett National Park and a well laid metalled road connects the two. Tourists can hire a cab from Pantnagar to reach the Corbett Tiger Reserve which will charge around 1000 to 1500 INR for a one way trip.
By Rail: The Ramnagar Township of the Nainital District functions as the nerve center of the Corbett Tiger Reserve and also serves as the gateway to the Jim Corbett National Park. The Ramnagar Railway Station (RMR) which falls under the Izzatnagar Division of the North Eastern Railway Zone is the nearest railhead from the Jim Corbett National Park. The Ramnagar Railway Station is connected to Moradabad, Kashipur, Bareilly, Rae Bareli, Raisi, Haridwar, Delhi, Lucknow, Varanasi, Dehradun and several other destinations through direct trains. Some of the most important trains plying on the Ramnagar Railway Route on daily or weekly basis include Ranikhet Exp, Grahwal Exp, Mussorrie Exp, Uttar S Kranti Exp, Doon Exp, Varanasi Dehradun Exp, Ramnagar Varanasi Exp, Ramnagar Delhi Link Exp, Ramnagar Haridwar Exp, Corbett Park Link, etc. Tourists can avail the rented taxis for reaching the Corbett National Park as well as Dhikala from Ramnagar.
By Road: An extensive network of well laid motor-able roads connects Jim Corbett National Park to almost all the important locations of northern India. Taxis and buses are easily available from all the major cities of Uttarakhand for reaching this celebrated Tiger Reserve. The Jim Corbett National Park is easily accessible from Ramnagar by road and a road trip from Ramnagar to the Park takes about 2 hours of time. Both state transport & private buses regularly ply from Ramnagar to Nainital, Kashipur, Moradabad, Haldwani, Delhi, and other intra and inter state destinations. The Ramnagar Bus Station is located in the proximity with the Ramnagar Railway Station itself. Ramnagar is well connected with Nainital, Haldwani, Kathgodam, Moradabad, Haridwar, Bareilly, Dehradun, Lucknow, Ranikhet and New Delhi by road. National Highway No 121 that initiates at Kashipur and terminates at Bubakhal passes through Ramnagar. Two of the most sought after routes to Ramnagar are; Delhi – Gajrola – Moradabad – Kashipur – Ramnagar Route (total 245 km) and Bareilly – Kichha – Haldwani – Ramnagar Route (total 154 km).
